This week Disneyland Guests may have been surprised to find a giant, metal eating monster munching away at Mickey’s Toowntown buildings. As seen above, the monster had a real liking to the Toontown Five & Dime. But take heart! This is all in preparation for the opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Guests are already loving it at Walt Disney World and we just can’t wait to take that first ride in Anaheim! But for now, so long Five & Dime and some of the other original Toontown buildings. We will miss you!
